We are living in a time of change. The increasing expectations of customers and rapid developments in technology are placing unprecedented demands on many organisations. The workforce is changing too; many employers are experiencing a changing demographic, shortages of key talent, a blurring of boundaries between work and home and a move to just-in-time & self-directed learning.
At cda we specialise in delivering a range of integrated people solutions that help organisations to respond to a changing external environment. Our USP is our ability to interpret our clients' medium-term objectives into effective change programmes which deliver real improvements in culture, capability and performance, resulting in more agile and productive organisations.
A change programme may start from a requirement to improve customer satisfaction, to improve business efficiency and profitability, to launch a new system or implement a new business structure. Wherever it starts, successful change depends on the engagement and support of the organisation's people.
The first step is always to agree the Vision for the change and ensure that is carries the full understanding and support of the top team. To be effective the Vision must paint an engaging and compelling picture of the future that can be used to build engagement and commitment across the organisation.
The next priority is to help our client to identify the changes required to skills, behaviours, team structures and organisational culture that are required to make the programme a success. It’s about aligning people strategies with business objectives and working to focus, align and simplify people processes to make sure that they develop a workforce that can deliver the future. It’s usually not about adding more, but streamlining key people processes such as performance management, remuneration and training and development to provide a single unavoidable message about what’s important.
In parallel with this we develop individuals and teams to deliver results. We support managers and leaders to develop their ability to lead change, bringing together a range of skills in areas such as emotional intelligence, change management and change communication. We also design and deliver large scale training programmes to develop critical skills and behaviours in key groups (e.g. customer handling skills).
What makes us different is this joined up approach to delivering performance through people. We believe that people are the difference and an engaged and effective workforce is essential to deliver successful change and improvements in business performance.
We have designed and supported successful change programmes across a wide variety of sectors including Retail, Automotive, Financial Services, Utilities, FMCG, IT/Telecoms and Professional Services. There are examples of our strategic focus throughout the website, particularly on the Delivering an outstanding customer experience and Delivering successful culture change pages.
